Starting Fall 2026, I will be a Lecturer in Philosophy at Smith College.
I'm interested in the philosophy of language and mind. My current research focuses on the semantics and pragmatics of socially meaningful language, including sociolinguistic variants, honorifics, register, slang, and jargon.
I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy from Columbia University. Before that, I received an M.Phil. in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Williams College.
