I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at Columbia University. I'm interested in the philosophy of language and mind. My current research focuses on the semantics and pragmatics of socially meaningful language, like sociolinguistic variants, honorifics, register, slang,  and jargon. 

Before coming to Columbia, I completed a BA in Philosophy at Williams College and an MPhil in History and Philosopy of Science at the University of Cambridge.
